In summer, city-dweller Nagisa and visiting youth Natsuo meet by the sea, their awkward exchange leading them into the rain soaked ocean. In winter, Li, a screenwriter in a creative slump, travels to a snow covered village with an old camera and discovers a desolate guesthouse run by the enigmatic Benzo. Their halting conversations soon draw them into an unexpected adventure. In both summer and winter, separate encounters reflect how fleeting moments can leave lasting imprints.
