Taxi driver Koji Usami works long hours to support his family, but rising expenses leave him increasingly strained. Filling in for a colleague, he picks up 85-year-old Sumire Takano in Shibamata, who asks to be driven to Hayama to enter a nursing home. Along the way, her requested detours unlock memories she gradually shares with Koji. What begins as a routine fare becomes an unexpected emotional journey, forging a quiet bond that changes them both.
