After seeing an advert for a tenant, Shinsaku, a salary man living in Tokyo, moves to a rural town in the Tohoku region to work remotely during the pandemic. During a period of self-quarantine, Shinsaku sneaks out alone every morning to indulge in his hobby of fishing and fully enjoys the fresh food he acquires from the local environment. When townsfolk learn that a stranger from the city has taken up residence, he receives a rough welcome but Shinsaku tries to win them over with his initiatives to revitalise the town. Settling into this rural environment, an unexpected new adventure awaits him.
