In order to become a manga artist, Akiko knows she needs to improve her drawing skills. Signing up for an art class, she is faced with the sword-wielding instructor, Kenzo Hidaka. Kenzo is not only excessively critical of Akiko’s work but his attachment to classical painting makes Akiko scared to reveal her true passion for manga. Under this unconventional teacher’s tutelage, Akiko must learn to hold her ground!
