A Samurai in Time

Kyoto, Edo Period. During a stormy night, a samurai who is preparing to fight an opposing clan member, is knocked unconscious after being hit by lightning. When he wakes up, he has been transported through time to the present day and a film set of a period movie. Still in his samurai clothes he is mistaken for an extra and immediately thrust into the world of filmmaking. Adjusting to life in modern-day Japan, he takes on more work as an extra in period dramas. That’s until a movie star takes an interest in him.
